Dijon Cordova

 Coach Dijon Cordova serves as a full time coach in Charlotte, NC.  Cordova is currently a Head Tennis coach within the CMS system as well as a dedicated WR Football coach. Cordova’s most recent assignment was as an assistant WR Coach at Providence Day School. While at PD he coached multiple highly recruited athletes; earning his 1st State Championship at the coaching level. Prior to his move to PD Cordova returned to his alma mater Independence HS to coach WRs. 

Cordova played 4 years under the legendary Coach Tommy Knotts earning his 1st State Title as a player. He next accepted a Scholarship to Fayetteville State University; later earning his B.A. in History. Upon graduating Cordova went on to join the football program at Indiana State for only a single season due to injury. While injured Cordova found his true passion in coaching and received his first HS coaching job at Richmond HS, located in Richmond Indiana. Cordova coached for two seasons at Richmond before returning to Davidson, NC to coach at Pine Lake Prep. While at PLP he coached WRs, DBs, RBs, and Returners, helping lead PLP to one of the best seasons in school history. Cordova prides himself on being a great role model for the kids, and strives to bring out the best in every athlete he coaches
